Series 4200

The Series 4200 retains all the core features of Maccor’s model 4000 floor-standing systems, but in a compact, benchtop form.

The Series 4200 is offered as a complete battery testing system, typically configured with 16 test channels. It is specifically designed for battery research and product testing laboratories, operating at relatively lower current and voltage levels. The system runs on Maccor’s standard battery testing software. Typical applications include performance testing of electrodes, separators, electrolytes, half-cells, and full cells — covering all types of battery chemistries.

The Series 4200 can be equipped with PowerPole connectors for convenient cable or battery rack interface connections. Each benchtop cabinet can support up to 16 test positions.

The Series 4200 supports multi-range current configurations, including current control ranges from as low as 300 nA up to 5 A. These multi-range configurations can be paired with a voltage range of either 5 V or 0 V to +10 V as standard. The current and voltage accuracy for these channels is 0.02% of full scale (FSR).

Alternatively, the system can be configured with a single-range current setup or customized for higher voltage and current requirements. For single-range configurations, current accuracy is 0.05% of FSR, and voltage accuracy remains at 0.02% of FSR.
