Series 4300H

The multifunction Series 4000H is a range of fully automated, computerized test systems for the characterization and performance testing of higher power cells, packs, and modules. Powered by the same technology found in Maccor’s high-precision Series 4000 test system, the Series 4000H provides a higher power density resulting in a reduction in the amount of floor space required. With multiple current ranges as standard and a high accuracy, this system is ideal for high current applications where improved accuracy over a wide range of currents is important. Supplied as a complete turnkey system, the Series 4000H consists of a test cabinet, PC computer, and tester software. The test cabinet, with embedded processors and PC computer are connected via a 10 base T LAN communications network. Operated by Maccor’s powerful test system software, the Series 4000H provides a full range of testing capabilities which includes both data analysis and data backup as standard.

From the base system that provides the highest level of accuracy and time resolution, features can be added to allow the Series 4000H system to perform virtually any type of test, with any type of products (i.e. batteries, super-capacitors, fuel cells, etc.) and chemistries.

Standard Features and Functions

  • Each test position:

    • Operates independently of the other positions

    • Can be user programmed to run a wide range of multi step tests, including pulse tests

    • Can be user programmed to operate in steps of fixed current, fixed power, fixed voltage, fixed resistance, and voltage ramp (cyclic voltammetry)

    • Can be set up to record data at operator specified intervals of time, voltage, current, etc.

    • Is delivered calibrated to NIST traceable standards, and requires calibration only once per year
